Boyles Ministry Newsletter

July 2008

Dear friends and family,

This month we had the pleasure of being here for the ordination of our pastor at Mount Zion, Alfred Ramsey.  The service was full of the Spirit and we were so glad to be a part of it.  Jeff worked closely with Alfred to help him with the process of becoming an ordained minister.  Alfred felt passionately about being ordained and being able to fully minister to the people in the congregation and the community.  Congratulations Alfred!

Also during the month of July was youth camp.  Jeff had the opportunity to speak at both sessions. All of the campers seemed to have a good time.

A team from Spurger Texas led by the Ritchie’s came down and put up the rafters for the dorm.  They also had VBS and services for men, women, and youth in San Juan.  Since the team left a group of local men put the zinc on the roof.  The dorm is almost finished!

Most of the month of July, we have been extremely busy working at the feeding program and the preschool.  We have doubled the size of the feeding program!  When Blue Springs was here, they helped with the roof of the addition.  With the help of some of the men in the community, the walls were built, doors were installed, a porch was poured on the back of the building, and the inside has been plastered.  Jeff has worked very hard to tile the inside of the existing building.  Ann Marie and I did the grout for the tile and painted.

At the preschool, we have put up ceiling boards and fans, put down tile, painted, and built a fenced in playground.  We are getting close to finishing the rooms in the preschool so we can start setting it up for school again.  The children in the community have already enjoyed the swing set on the playground.  Until now, they did not have an enclosed, safe place to play.

We still need to tile and paint the inside of the new addition, stain the new doors, and do a lot of cleaning up.  We are hoping to be finished by the end of next week so the following week can be spent packing and getting ready to leave.

Please pray for our physical and emotional endurance during the next two weeks.  We are exhausted and we still have a lot to do.  I would also like to request prayer for Darlene Glasgow, our missionary partner and her mother.  Darlene has gone to the States right now to be with her mother who was diagnosed in April with brain cancer.

Thank you for everything!  We love you all and we are excited to get to see you soon!

In Christ,

Jeff, Tiffany, and Ann Marie
