Dear friends and family,

We are experiencing our first storm of Hurricane Season this year.  Tropical Storm Alma came in from the Pacific.  Most of the damage sustained was in Nicaragua and Honduras.  We are getting a lot of rain, but no major winds.  Please remember us this year.  Last year was a busy season here in Belize.

We celebrated Ann Marie’s 4th birthday this month.  I can hardly believe she is already four years old.  She was very excited to have her friends over to our house for her party.  We had cake, ice cream, piñatas, and lots of balloons.  The kids all seemed to have a good time.

Everything is moving along nicely at the new camp.  The major construction on the dining hall is finished.  This month, construction has continued on the caretaker’s house.  It is now ready for a roof and will then need doors and windows.  We are hoping the dorm will be ready for a roof soon.  A team is set to come in July to put the roof on the dorm.

Jeff has been working at Mount Zion and San Juan Baptist Churches.  Both churches are expanding.  Mount Zion in Independence has had the floor and outside walls for Sunday school rooms for a long time.  This week the roof was finished just in time for rainy season!  God is good!  We are also expanding the feeding program building at the church here in San Juan.  We are hoping next school year to have the room to feed 100 children in the space.

The ladies in my English class finished on May 20th.  After a lot of review on all of the material we have been over, I gave them a final exam on conversational English.  They all did very well.  I was very proud of the improvements they have made since we started almost two years ago.

I was grateful to get to go home for my cousin, Ann’s wedding. Ann Marie and I traveled home for a long weekend last weekend.  We had a great time getting to see family.

I mentioned last month that we will be leaving Belize in August.  After much prayer we feel it is time for us to go.  This does not mean leaving will be easy.  Please continue to pray for us as we make preparations to leave.

In Christ,

Jeff, Tiffany, and Ann Marie
